Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Crew Lead - Structured Cabling to coordinate on-site activities for voice and data installation projects. You will supervise crews, ensure safety and quality, and maintain efficient staffing on site.

You will interact with customers, review blueprints, and escalate issues to the Project Manager as needed. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Minimum of six (6) months supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Proficient with the listed tools and be able to interpret blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews and provide training; enforce safety and quality guidelines.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity and budget compliance.
• Complete all required project paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform quality checks and coordinate moves and cross connects; prepare as-built drawings.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; perform other assigned duties.
