Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - Structured Cabling to oversee on-site crews and ensure voice/data installation projects meet safety and quality standards. You will coordinate with the Project Manager to maintain productivity and budget, and handle critical paperwork and client communications on-site.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 3+ years in telecommunications, fiber termination ability, and 6+ months of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or related field.
Must be able to terminate fiber.
Minimum 6 months of supervisory/managerial experience.
Must be proficient with listed tools and be able to interpret project documents.
Must know universal communications color codes.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
Must meet driving standards.

Responsibilities

Lead major project crews, provide training, and enforce safety and quality guidelines.
Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and budget compliance.
Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time.
Perform quality checks, coordinate moves, and prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
Serve as main on-site contact for customer questions and attend meetings.
Perform on-site troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
