Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Customer Operations Associate to help manage HVAC installation contracts on site at Miramar and Fort Lauderdale. You will support accounts receivable and payable, billings, and subcontract processing while assisting project/bookings coordination and material shipping.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Onsite full-time with a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of related work experience in service/sales/technical environments.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with tact and persistence.
• Strong typing and financial data handling skills with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Track and support HVAC installation contract activities, including billing and collections.
• Prepare and submit monthly billings and related documentation (lien waivers, payroll docs).
• Manage A/R disputes and coordinate with customers for timely resolutions.
• Assist with subcontract processing and PO issuance per contract requirements.
• Coordinate project bookings, shipping, receiving, and material cataloging.
• Provide day-to-day operations administration support as needed.
