Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Practice Coordinator to support daily administrative operations onsite at our hospital partner in a remote-first culture. You will work with the Practice Medical Director, clinicians, and the clinical performance nurse to improve workflows, communications, and standards.

The role emphasizes coordinating scheduling, onboarding, privileging support, and ensuring compliance with HR and practice policies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• 1-2 years in customer service.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to the practice under supervision of the medical director and practice administrator.
• Manage office systems, supplies, and practice events; coordinate meetings.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Practice Management Team on policies and procedures.
• Assist with patient census, onboarding of clinicians, and onboarding orientation.
• Support billing documentation, compliance training, and HR information systems activities.
