Job summary

Sound Physicians seeks a Practice Coordinator to provide on-site administrative leadership at our Manhattan, KS practice. You will support day-to-day operations, coordinate meetings, and assist with onboarding, interviews, and policy implementation to improve workflow and clinician support.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hospital staff and the practice team, ensuring compliant documentation and efficient processes across clinical and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Knowledge of HR information systems and basic HR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to the medical practice under the direction of the medical director and practice administrator.
• Manage meeting logistics, office systems, supplies, and practice events.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Practice Management Team on site policies and procedures.
• Facilitate patient census/reconciliation and daily rounds as applicable to the practice.
• Support onboarding and interviews for clinicians, including on-site logistics.
