Job summary

Geode Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Practice Assistant to be the friendly first contact for patients and to support both administrative and clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

This on-site role manages front office tasks, schedule coordination, patient intake, payments, and coordination with providers while upholding HIPAA and delivering compassionate care to our patient population.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Mental health or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming first point of contact and deliver exceptional patient service.
• Manage daily schedules, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists.
• Support check-in/check-out and prepare patients for visits.
• Coordinate patient intake, referrals, authorizations, and follow-up needs.
