Job summary

Ball Aerospace is seeking a Plant Electrical/Process Supervisor in Hawaii to lead a team of electricians, oversee maintenance lifecycle, and drive reliability. The role focuses on maximizing production throughput, reducing downtime, and maintaining high equipment availability through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and staff development.

You will supervise maintenance activities, apply new technologies, and ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in industrial maintenance.
• 2+ years electrical maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of experience with PLCs, Rockwell preferred.
• Ability to evaluate, adapt and modify standard maintenance techniques.
• Confidential handling of sensitive information.
• Ability to negotiate with contractors for maintenance work.
• Ability to operate a computer and perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain professional competence and ethical integrity.
• Knowledge of equipment specifications and supervisory practices.
• Follow company policies and standards of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical personnel and manage maintenance lifecycle.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Plan and execute maintenance, improvements and training.
• Maintain daily logs and PM schedules; monitor downtime and throughput.
• Coordinate with safety, environmental and emergency procedures.
• Work overtime/on-call as required; weekends may be involved.
• Maintain relationships with union stewards and workforce.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste handling.
