Job summary

Ball Aerospace is seeking a Senior Process Supervisor to lead plant process optimization and drive safe, efficient operations in the assigned area. You will supervise a team, manage budgets, and coordinate maintenance, safety, and quality initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in manufacturing environments, and a track record of implementing process improvements in can manufacturing or related settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment; high speed manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing rebuilding of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• 3+ years of experience in can manufacturing experience preferred.
• Supervisor or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure work environment; facilitate monthly safety meetings and inspections.
• Support development, maintenance, and improvement of the food safety system.
• Ensure around-the-clock efficient operations for the assigned process area.
• Manage resources and activities for the assigned process area.
• Supervise process team members.
• Establish maintenance procedures including planning, budgeting, execution and reviews.
• Plan and manage the budget for the assigned area.
• Analyze systems and processes to identify improvements and make recommendations to management.
• Diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
• Design and oversee new systems to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost reduction.
• Collect data to generate reports and schedules for the area.
• Coordinate maintenance to reduce costs and prevent interruptions.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are stocked to prevent downtime.
• Train employees on maintenance programs and procedures.
