Job summary

RTX invites applications for a CCA/PCB Product Development Engineer I in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on ensuring PCB/CCA design for manufacturability and collaboration across engineering disciplines in an onsite setting.

You will generate standard notes, support manufacturability analyses, and act as SME during supplier transitions. A DoD Secret clearance is required, along with a Bachelor's in a STEM field and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects and ability to multi-task.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Self-starter who actively engages with SMEs across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate technical knowledge regarding PCB/CCA design and manufacturability.
• Support product development engineering by applying tools to predict manufacturability.
• Generate PCB/CCA standard notes and PreCAD data packages.
• Request mentor parts library elements and support alternative design solutions.
• Perform technology selection, trade-off analysis, and producibility assessments.
• Collaborate with design stakeholders and fabrication/assembly suppliers.
• Act as SME for product transitions between suppliers and provide process support.
• Work within integrated product development teams to execute tasks and deliver high-quality work products.
• Manage multiple programs concurrently and travel as required.
