Job summary

RTX, based in McKinney, TX, seeks a CCA/PCB Product Development Engineer I to help ensure the design and manufacturability of PCBs and CCAs. You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality products and support multiple programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM field, experience leading cross-functional teams, and proficiency with MS Office. Onsite work and potential travel are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects with multi-tasking and priority-based scheduling.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Self-starter who actively engages with SMEs across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate technical knowledge regarding design and manufacturability of PCBs and CCAs.
• Support product development engineering by applying tools to predict manufacturability performance.
• Generate PCB/CCA notes and PreCAD data packages.
• Request mentor parts library elements and support alternative designs to meet manufacturability/affordability goals.
• Perform technology selection, trade-off analysis, and producibility assessments.
• Collaborate with design stakeholders and fabrication/assembly suppliers.
• Act as SME for product transitions between suppliers and provide process support.
• Work within integrated product development teams to deliver high-quality work products.
• Manage multiple programs concurrently and travel as required.
