Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of payroll experience, an associate degree in a related field, strong data entry and analytical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while meeting payroll deadlines. This is a contract, onsite position.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant payroll, accounting, timekeeping, or HR experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
• Strong data entry, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information and meet payroll deadlines.
• Hands-on experience processing complex payroll transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process and review bi-weekly payroll for accuracy.
• Handle payroll corrections, retroactive pay, off-cycle checks, deductions, and garnishments.
• Apply payroll policies and union contract requirements.
• Reconcile payroll records with accounting, tax, and benefits records.
• Prepare payroll reports and support audits and year-end activities.
• Assist the Payroll Manager and provide guidance on complex payroll issues.
