PRIME Traffic Control is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage the accurate processing of multi-state payroll and serve as the primary resource for prevailing wage compliance and certified payroll reporting. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and contractual wage requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, HR, or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of payroll administration experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and prevailing wage regulations.

Aufgaben

• Process weekly and monthly payroll cycles accurately and on schedule.
• Review and audit time records, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Assist with year-end activities, including W-2 preparation.
• Reconcile payroll reports and generate management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting activities related to payroll.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and compliance.
