LHH is partnering with an established company to hire a Payroll Specialist in Bellevue, WA. The role requires strong knowledge of prevailing wage processes and at least five years of payroll experience, with collaboration across departments and responsive employee inquiries.

You will manage semi-monthly, multi-state payroll, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and payroll audits. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and advanced Excel skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Five or more years of payroll experience required.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll and prevailing wage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, payroll accounting, and employment law compliance.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
