Job summary

MB Tractor & Equipment is seeking a Payroll/HR Administrator to assist the HR/Safety Manager across payroll, onboarding, recruiting, and regulatory reporting. You will handle weekly payroll, time-card follow-ups, and wage corrections while ensuring data accuracy for multi-state payroll submissions.

The role supports managers and staff in HR functions, with responsibilities including onboarding checks, recruitment processing, and annual W2 and audit tasks.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 years HR Payroll experience mandatory, with proficiency in Word & Excel.
• Math, computer, telephone and interpersonal skills essential.
• Office procedures, contracts and insurance guidelines, title regulations are relevant.
• Ability to sit for long periods in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer weekly payroll including time card follow-up and approvals.
• Complete onboarding accuracy to ensure payroll wages process correctly.
• Manage daily recruitment processes: applicant processing, interviews, and postings.
• Complete annual regulatory reporting and employee census reporting.
• Support HR/Safety Manager on projects and payroll-related inquiries.
