RENOSY by Renters Warehouse in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to manage payroll processing for employees and contractors, vendor setup, and coding of bills. The role supports annual audits and process improvements, with 3+ years in AP/Payroll preferred.

The position requires compliance with payroll tax laws, timekeeping validation, and reconciliation of payroll and AP subledgers. This is an onsite role at the Minneapolis corporate headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in AP/Payroll role.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for employees and contractors including timekeeping, hires, terminations, changes and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour requirements.
• Reconcile payroll to the GL, bank accounts, and benefit invoices; prepare payroll journal entries.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and support audits.
• Process vendor invoices with proper approvals and cost centers.
• Prepare weekly payments via Bill.com and manage vendor relationships.
• Reconcile AP subledger and prepare accruals and aging reports.
• Review employee expense reports in Concur.
• Allocate and post recurring credit card expenses and related accruals.
• Review timesheets and coordinate with supervisors for corrections.
• Prepare monthly Franchise royalty invoices.
• Assist in audit document preparation.
