Job summary

Washington University Medical Campus is seeking a Patient Billing/Services Representative II for Orthopedic Surgery to deliver exceptional service and accurate registration. You will check in/out patients, verify insurance and referrals, and manage accounts in EPIC while supporting timely appointments and payments.

This is an on-campus, full-time role with local coverage as needed. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within one month of

• High school diploma or equivalent or combination of education and experience.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire.
• Experience in medical office billing or related customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out scheduled patients and verify demographics.
• Update patient insurance, referrals, and demographics in EPIC.
• Schedule walk-in and same-day appointments and collect copayments, balances, and self-pay amounts.
