Ensemble is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist for an on-site role at Carilion - Rockbridge Hospital in Lexington, VA. You will handle admitting duties, collect insurance information, verify eligibility, and support POS and billing processes while delivering compassionate service to patients.

The role requires 1+ year of customer service experience, a High School Diploma/GED, and CRCR certification within 6 months (company-paid).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform audits and ensure forms are completed accurately and timely.
• Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits, collecting demographics and insurance information.
• Explain consent forms and patient education documents to patients and guardians.
