Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• This role requires on-site work at Carilion - Rockbridge Hospital in Lexington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services.
• Assign MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and review demographic data.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Support POS billing with insurance verification and coding.
• Ensure accurate charting and compliance with policies across the organization.
