Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and assign MRNs; verify medical necessity and insurance information.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls.
• Explain general consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Meet point-of-service goals and ensure accurate billing data for POS and audits.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Use ABN software to screen medical necessity and communicate with Medicare patients.
