Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to improve processes and patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Process patient access tasks including MRN assignment, medical necessity checks, collecting insurance information and physician orders.
• Operate the telephone switchboard to relay calls.
• Provide compassionate customer service and meet POS/improvement goals.
• Assist with audits, pre-registration, and enrollment processes.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Review insurance eligibility and code plans for POS and billing workflows.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and communicate potential Medicare payment implications.
