Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Part-Time Casual Registered Dietitian to join our team at Parsons Presbyterian Manor in Parsons, KS. You will assess nutritional needs of residents, develop care plans, and support dining services to promote quality of life.

This role offers flexible scheduling around 9 hours per week, competitive hourly pay, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay. Ideal candidates hold a nutrition degree, CDR eligibility, and a state license or credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or eligible per aacp requirement.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies relating to dining and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
