Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Casual Registered Dietitian to join our team at Parsons Presbyterian Manor in Parsons, KS. You will assess nutritional needs of residents, plan interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

The schedule is 9 hours per week, with flexible days. As a Registered Dietitian, you will educate the healthcare team, follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and collaborate across departments to improve dining services and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligibility per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
