Job summary

Via is seeking an Associate General Manager to lead the on-site operations team in Baton Rouge, LA. The role drives safe, reliable, accessible transportation by managing drivers, schedules, and day-to-day service using our technology platform.

The candidate will oversee real-time decision-making, partner coordination, and continuous improvement while meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining a high-performance team culture. This is an in-person role requiring 4–5 onsite days.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily onsite operations to ensure safe, reliable service.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, and compliance.
• Oversee driver lifecycle: scheduling, PTO, and performance discussions.
• Schedule driver work to meet demand with adequate vehicles.
• Serve as operations bridge between city partners, drivers, unions, and local organizations.
• Use data to diagnose issues and improve efficiency and rider experience.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and regulations.
