Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks an Onboarding Specialist (temporary) to manage a seamless onboarding process for new hires and non-employees. You will coordinate activities from offer to start date, ensure compliance, and create a welcoming experience at the Midway Corporate Campus in St. Paul, MN.

This 3–6 month assignment is onsite three days a week during core hours. Responsibilities include scheduling, monitoring onboarding tasks, credentialing updates, and collaboration with EOHS and

Qualifications

• 2 years Human Resources experience.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to follow policy and HR processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate onboarding activities from offer to start date.
• Verify and document compliance including I-9 and licensing where applicable.
• Maintain data integrity in the applicant tracking system and related records.
• Facilitate new hire introductions and ensure a welcoming onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with EOHS, recruiting, and hiring leaders on clearances.
• Assist with travel arrangements and expense reimbursements as needed.
