Job summary

Whitman Hospital & Medical Clinics is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to serve as a liaison between Human Resources, leaders, candidates, new employees, and contract staff. You will manage the full onboarding process from posting openings to new employee orientation, and assist with offboarding and related tasks.

Under the Director of Human Resources, you will coordinate orientations, ensure background checks and verifications, collaborate with IT for access, and support payroll and benefits

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certification in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; two years HR experience may substitute education.
• Two years of experience in a related HR function (recruitment, onboarding, HR administrative support).
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent customer service skills and effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: create, maintain, and close positions in ATS; coordinate with leaders; extend offers; prepare offer letters; manage recruitment events and contracts with vendors.
