Zusammenfassung

PADCOM is seeking an OAR II to manage all phases of large-scale LAUSD construction projects on-site, ensuring schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes coordination with design teams, public agencies, and District staff to deliver high-quality facilities.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction/project management, and a CCM credential or equivalent, with experience on public/educational facilities and BIM-enabled workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 15 years of full-time professional experience in construction and/or project management.
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex projects with construction values exceeding $20 million.
• Experience on public or educational facility projects preferred.
• Design-Build delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred.
• OSHA 30 or higher preferred.
• Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate all phases of assigned projects including pre-construction, bid/award, construction, and close-out.
• Review pre-construction documents and provide comments to design teams.
• Prepare and present project status and progress reports to management.
• Coordinate with public agencies and District staff to ensure compliance with off-site work requirements.
• Manage project budgets and schedules; monitor monthly expenditures and progress.
• Oversee contractor activities, review schedules, and coordinate responses to RFCs.
• Review contractor submittals and substitutions for compliance with specifications and District standards.
• Review and negotiate contractor change order proposals to achieve fair and reasonable pricing.
• Monitor and process payments for contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Administer Professional Service Agreements between architects and the District.
• Coordinate delivery of District-provided furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Manage project close-out activities including DSA certification and financial close-out.
