Job summary

CLMI Group LLC is seeking a seasoned OAR II for Los Angeles Unified School District projects. The role overseeing pre-construction, bid, award, construction and close-out phases requires extensive experience coordinating complex facilities programs valued over $20M, with strong leadership in project management and budget oversight.

Candidates should have 15 years of full-time construction management experience, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management, and the CCM

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of full-time paid professional experience in Construction/Project Management.
• Five (5) of the fifteen years must coordinate complex projects >$20M in value.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or CCM credential pathway.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/pre-construction through close-out of assigned projects.
• Review pre-construction documents and submit comments.
• Plan and report status/progress to upper management.
• Coordinate with agencies, district staff and contractors.
• Manage project budget and schedule to meet quality standards.
• Review contractor submittals and RFCs; coordinate responses.
• Review and negotiate Change Orders and schedule impacts.
• Monitor payments to contractors/architects/engineers.
• Administer professional service agreements and district deliveries of furniture and fixtures.
• Monitor project close-out with DSA and financial completion.
