Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations, team performance, and profitability across multiple cemetery and funeral home locations. This on-site leadership role requires energetic hands-on management, budget ownership, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

You will drive results with a performance-based bonus, manage P&L, coach managers, recruit staff, and ensure service excellence for families we serve. This full-time position requires regular onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Strong combination of business operations, quality, continuous improvement, and process development experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain trust with stakeholders (customers, partners, investors).
• Experience handling location issues including customer complaints and escalations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Prior experience managing multiple departments across locations.
• Pro-active, urgency-driven task prioritization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operations across locations with full P&L responsibility.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit levels.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve escalations.
• Motivate and coach teams to achieve goals.
• Lead weekly managers meetings on staffing and plans.
• Recruit, hire and retain staff per company standards.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and development plans.
• Manage merchandise and property inventory across locations.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure value partnerships.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
