Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a full-time onsite General Manager to oversee operations across multiple locations. Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 with an incentive bonus plan tied to site performance. This role requires regular onsite presence and is not remote or hybrid.

The ideal candidate will lead diverse departments, drive profitability, and ensure service excellence while managing budgets, teams, and vendor partnerships across cemetery and funeral home locations.

Qualifications

• Strong combination of business operations, quality, continuous improvement, process development and management experience to provide unique business solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain trust with all stakeholders customers, business partners, investors, and coworkers.
• Experienced in developing effective methods of handling location issues including internal and external customer complaints and issues.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience leading and developing teams high performing teams.
• Prior experience managing multiple departments within multiple locations.
• Proactively prioritizing tasks and urgency.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of all aspects of daily operations, including full P&L responsibility to facilitate growth within markets.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit levels; review financial results against budgets to ensure efficient operations.
• Act as an example of excellent customer service for internal and external customers and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide motivational leadership to teams and foster collaboration within company guidelines.
• Facilitate weekly managers meetings to review staffing, development, and training needs and discuss plans and results.
• Proactively recruit, hire, train and retain staff according to company standards.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and development plans with regular follow-up.
• Manage merchandise and property inventory for each location within portfolio.
• Influence and manage vendor relationships to meet location and customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards and plans.
• Select and purchase necessary materials for operations within budget using approved vendors.
