Job summary

HTG Management LLC in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance and ensure the safe, well-maintained operation of assigned communities. This hands-on supervisory role combines troubleshooting, staff training, and scheduling to keep apartment homes ready for occupancy.

You will work with the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor on priorities, oversee technicians and vendors, manage work orders, and drive preventive maintenance while upholding

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of multifamily maintenance leadership experience or comparable building maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising, training, and scheduling maintenance staff.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and appliance repair, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, drywall, flooring, carpentry, locks, pools or spas, roofs, and life safety equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and resident service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager and Yardi Maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance work in coordination with the Property Manager and priorities set by both the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and provide performance feedback to Maintenance Technicians, Groundskeepers and other assigned maintenance staff.
• Assign, monitor and complete work orders, inspections, repairs, and property upkeep; assist the team with work when needed.
• Coordinate vendor schedules and verify that work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
• Communicate staffing, service, and property concerns to the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor, as they arise.
• Keep all after hours emergency maintenance schedules current in the software, remain reachable while on call, and respond to calls within company required timeframes.
