Job summary

This working supervisor role blends hands-on repairs with staff training and scheduling under the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor.

You will troubleshoot HVAC and plumbing systems, supervise technicians, coordinate vendors, and manage preventive maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, resident service, and timely unit turnover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of multifamily maintenance leadership experience.
• Experience supervising, training, and scheduling maintenance staff.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and appliance repair, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and resident service skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, safety procedures, work scopes, and applicable requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager and Yardi Maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance work in coordination with Property Manager and priorities.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and provide feedback to maintenance staff.
• Assign, monitor and complete work orders, inspections, repairs, and upkeep.
• Coordinate vendor schedules and ensure on-time, safe completion.
• Communicate staffing, service, and property concerns to management.
• Keep after-hours emergency maintenance schedules current and respond on time.
• Lead unit turnover inspections, scope of work, scheduling, and readiness.
• Provide professional customer service to residents and update on status.
