Job summary

Axon seeks a Mission Engineer II to work onsite with public safety agencies, embedding with teams to understand missions and workflows. You will translate operational problems into technical requirements and build dashboards, workflows, and AI-enabled solutions within Axon's ecosystem.

You'll collaborate with product and engineering, ensure CJIS compliance, and drive adoption of deployed solutions while maintaining a strong customer-facing focus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in solutions engineering, software engineering, systems, or technical consulting.
• Foundational software engineering, building technical solutions, APIs, scripting, data, testing, debugging.
• Understanding of AI concepts and practical applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and satisfy background requirements.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Embed with agencies to understand mission and workflows.
• Develop knowledge of Axon ecosystem and deployed products.
• Translate customer problems into clear technical requirements and success criteria.
• Build applications, dashboards, workflows, and automations using Axon tools.
• Move solutions from discovery to real customer use and drive adoption.
