Job summary

Amazon seeks an Onsite Medical Representative to join its Workplace Health & Safety team in Fort Wayne, IN. The role provides first aid, coordinates care, and supports OSHA compliance and workers’ compensation programs.

Requires BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification, plus MS Office skills and experience with industrial wellness. You will work with site leadership, maintain records, train coworkers, and support emergency response.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid BLS certification from an ECC provider; AND one of the following: EMT or Paramedic certification OR Athletic Trainer certification.
• EMT or Paramedic certification from DoH or NREMT; OR Athletic Trainer certification to teach first aid, CPR, AED training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
• Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation.
• In the last year, six months of military Combat Medic/Field Medic/Hospital Corpsman/Aerospace Medical Service Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers when needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership to coach on at-risk work habits.
• Maintain clean environment and medical supplies inventory.
• Participate in training and certification for first aid, CPR, AED.
• Maintain all credentialing for first aid, CPR, AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on-site.
