Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to provide first aid, guide occupational health, and coordinate injury care on site at a LA distribution center. You will work with the WHS team to support safety operations and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

The role requires BLS and EMT/paramedic credentials, athletic trainer certification, strong recordkeeping, and experience with industrial wellness.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
EMT or Paramedic certification from the Department of Health OR NREMT is required.
Active Athletic Trainer certification by BOC or state board preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.
Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.

Responsabilités

Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
Minimize AA risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs with work-related injuries.
Provide daily activity logs and end of shift reports.
Engage with AAs and leadership on operations floor to coach on observed at-risk habits.
Maintain a clean working environment and ensure medical supply inventory is maintained.
Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR and AED certifications.
Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site.
