Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety team seeks an experienced Onsite Medical Representative to provide on-site first aid, assess and refer injuries, and advise associates on occupational health matters. The role includes recordkeeping, safety coaching, and supporting return-to-work programs.

The candidate should hold BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certifications, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and OSHA knowledge. Flexible shifts and site-based work are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• EMT or Paramedic certification required.
• Athletic trainer certification required.
• First aid/CPR/AED certification from AHA or Red Cross required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomics.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation.
• Military medic-related experience within the last year (Combat Medic/Field Medic/Healthcare Specialist/Hospital Corpsman/Aerospace Medical Service Technician) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach associates and leadership on safe work habits.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean work environment.
• Assist with CPR/AED/First Aid training and certifications.
• Ensure credentials for first aid, CPR, AED are kept up to date.
• Work flexible shifts including days/nights/holidays/weekends.
• Assist with random drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on site.
