Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a co-op student in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering for hands-on experience in designing building systems. You will work with engineers to create drawings and learn AutoCAD and Revit on real CMTA projects.

Qualifications

• This program is for students pursuing Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
• Preference for sophomores (2nd year) or juniors (3rd year).
• AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; team and independent work.
• Commitment to full-time in-office co-op during term.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed layout and equipment details of HVAC systems.
• Produce one-line diagrams/schematics.
• Assist in assembling organized drawing sets for CMTA projects.
• Assist with data collection and field verification as needed.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop project aspects.
