Job summary

CMTA (a Legence Company) in Charlotte, NC, invites engineering students to join a hands-on co-op program in mechanical, HVAC, and energy design. You will work on real CMTA projects, learn design workflows, and contribute to drawings under professional engineers in AutoCAD and Revit.

This full-time onsite position starts in May 2027 and can span multiple rotations with potential for future employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, sophomore or junior preferred.
• Strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering.
• AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed HVAC layout and equipment details.
• Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Assist in assembling organized drawing sets.
• Travel locally for job site inspections and field work.
