Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, invites Co-op students to engage in hands-on mechanical/HVAC/energy design projects. You will learn how we design and implement systems and energy-efficient measures within real CMTA projects, under Professional Engineers' guidance.

This paid, full-time onsite co-op runs for one or more semesters, with potential for future employment upon graduation. Ideal for students pursuing ME/AE degrees seeking practical industry experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (sophomore or junior).
• Strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Able to work full-time in our office during the co-op term, and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed layout and equipment details of HVAC systems.
• Produce one-line diagrams/schematics.
• Assist the design team in assembling organized drawing sets.
• May assist in data collection and/or field verification.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop all project aspects.
