Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, invites students to join our hands-on co-op program in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering. You’ll work on HVAC systems, energy design, and drawing sets under Professional Engineers in AutoCAD and Revit, gaining real-world project experience.

This onsite full-time co-op runs May 2027 through Summer 2027, offering mentorship, collaboration with a professional team, and opportunities for future employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, preferably a sophomore or junior.
• Strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed layout and equipment details of HVAC systems.
• Produce one-line diagrams/schematics.
• Assist the design team in assembling organized drawings.
• May assist in data collection and/or field verification.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop all project aspects.
