Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Supervisor, Mechanical for the Starbase Infrastructure team to lead a group of laborers and contractors in building and activating infrastructure for multiple projects.

You will oversee field operations, manage assets, enforce safety policies, coordinate scheduling, and drive site logistics to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality and safety on a high-paced jobsite.

Qualifications

• Field experience in a technical field or supervising a multi-discipline team of contractors/laborers.
• Experience with project management and scheduling software.
• Understanding of multiple disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, geotechnical, and surveying.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site supervision of a fast-paced construction project including supervising a team handling site logistics, schedules, and resources.
• Plan and enforce construction site logistics to meet goals and schedule.
• Manage SpaceX construction assets such as trailers, porta-lets, and rental equipment.
• Enforce SpaceX safety policies and drive safety culture on site.
• Coordinate daily field operations and resolve conflicts with contractors and internal partners.
• Manage site logistics: deliveries, offloading, inventory, storage, and staging of materials.
• Ensure jobsite cleanliness and maintain daily operation logs for reporting.
