Border States Industries, Inc. is seeking a Jobsite Material Coordinator in Charlotte, NC.

The role focuses on coordinating material handling, inventory management and job site logistics to ensure timely and accurate operations across branch and customer locations. Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, receiving freight, and supporting vendor managed inventory programs while maintaining clear communication with warehouse, drivers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent in business/trade or related field.
• Prior construction experience including large equipment or forklift operation is required.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred; must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates material deliveries, shipments, and transfers to customer sites and branch locations.
• Receives incoming freight and checks material for damage or shortages.
• Collaborates to ensure material is prepared, staged or kitted for construction activities.
• Leads setup and ongoing management of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs and warehouses.
• Partners with customers and branch personnel on inventory additions/changes/deletions and maintains stock levels.
• Maintains project schedules with up-to-date inventory information.
