Job summary

Border States in Fargo, ND is seeking a Jobsite Material Coordinator to coordinate material handling, inventory management, and on-site logistics across branch and customer locations. You will support day-to-day operations by coordinating material and services to meet customer needs, communicating with Border States warehouse staff, drivers, and contractors.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a proactive, service-focused approach to problem solving and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with material handling and inventory management.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material deliveries, shipments, and transfers to customer sites and branch locations.
• Receive incoming freight and inspect for damage or shortages.
• Lead setup and management of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
• Maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand while optimizing stock.
• Support field logistics, planning inbound/outbound shipments and coordinating with drivers and contractors.
• Operate and document warehouse activities in SAP or equivalent system.
