Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing in Saint Francisville, LA. You will manage field material control activities for major capital equipment and materials under supervision, contributing to project delivery and supplier coordination.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2–5 years of capital equipment material control experience, OSHA 10, and strong Excel/ERP system skills. On-site work in Saint Francisville, LA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field required.
• 2–5 years of capital equipment material control experience preferred.
• 2+ years on-site experience in large, complex construction environments.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Experience with inventory control and procurement systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in Construction Management or Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes and tools.
• Review shipment release documentation and approve shipments per PO terms.
• Administer MRIs/MIRs and OS&D reports.
• Maintain material control documentation and risk registers.
• Coordinate with project teams for material control activities.
