Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to partner with leaders across manufacturing operations in Phoenix, AZ. You will support compliance, employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle policy interpretation, investigations, and initiatives to cultivate a respectful, inclusive workplace while maintaining confidentiality and supporting a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience in manufacturing or multi-site.
• Experience with employee relations investigations.
• Experience with benefits administration and HR compliance.
• Workday experience preferred; HR certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for leaders and team members regarding workplace concerns, conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Support corrective action processes, documentation, and performance improvement plans.
• Partner with leadership to foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
• Provide guidance on attendance, conduct, workplace accommodations, and leave administration.
• Promote proactive communication and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with policy development, implementation, and communication efforts.
• Partner with leadership to mitigate organizational and employee relations risk.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS transactions within Workday and related systems.
• Support performance management and talent development initiatives.
• Participate in HR projects, training programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Analyze HR trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
• Assist team members with benefits enrollment and related inquiries.
• Serve as a point of contact for team member questions, concerns, and HR‑related support.
• Partner with the HR team to plan and execute employee engagement, team‑building, and recognition programs.
• Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and Human Resources department.
• Prepare HR reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
