Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is hiring a Service Technician in Fort Myers to maintain building interiors, grounds, and common areas. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safety and cleanliness across property amenities.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local credentials, and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations. It includes on-call scheduling and a strong focus on cost control and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, and coordinating vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and equipment from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to ensure service requests are recorded and traceable.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using tools properly.

Education

EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications
