Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that buildings and amenities meet safety and quality standards. The role covers preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks, and documentation, with responsibilities including grounds upkeep and cost-conscious repairs.

The position operates Monday–Friday with a rotating on-call schedule, and requires EPA refrigerant certifications plus valid state/local licenses as applicable. Compensation reflects an hourly wage with benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications as required for Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Obtains materials and tools from the maintenance department and tracks inventory while notifying the supervisor of re-order needs.
• Completes documentation to track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control programs by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
