Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role handles work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacancies.

Responsibilities include inventory management, documentation, and upkeep of property facilities. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; flexibility for evenings/weekends may be needed.

Formación

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacants for leasing via make-ready process, inspects units, and coordinates with vendors.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors when reordering is needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure accurate tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting duties as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
