Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Alta Harris Farms in Mooresville, NC. The role handles routine and preventive maintenance to keep buildings, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and functional.

You’ll handle make-readies, inspections, and coordination with vendors, ensuring resident requests are resolved promptly. The ideal candidate has EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II or Universal) is required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Track materials, inventory, and notify supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Document work and maintain accurate records for requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with painting and cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
