Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to help maintain and improve the physical condition of our properties in Anaheim, CA. The role includes handling routine maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacant units, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across common areas.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of property maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on site. The position offers full-time hours with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience required.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance; diagnose defects and make repairs per safety standards and code requirements.
• Completes the 'make-ready' process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests and maintains grounds and common areas.
• Assists in cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
