Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Long Beach, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. On-site role with a Wednesday-Sunday schedule, on-call duties, 9am-6pm, subject to change.

Requirements include 1–2 years of maintenance experience and HVAC certification preferred; EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for golf-cart operation may be required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience; HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and perform preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and punch list management.
• Manage materials: locate, track inventory, and notify supervisor when re-ordering.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, clean, paint curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
